The Magnet Pole Detector M-8 is a small pocket device in pencil shape for the determination of magnetic polarity on ferromagnetic parts or on magnets and magnetic circuits. The small magnet, which swivels freely between 4 tips, adjusts even to the slightest external magnetic field (also the earth's magnetic field). The Pole detector can also be used as a compass.
