Magnetic field measuring devices to measure residual magnetism

The earth's magnetic field is 0.2 A / cm strong. Just a little more residual magnetism on steel parts and chips will stick. Recognize the magnetic field around your workpiece.

External probes for magnetic field measuring devices

The probe is attached to a 80 cm long cable. The probe is easy to replace, and the cable can also be replaced separately if it is defective. An external probe is advantageous if the result cannot be read directly on the integrated measuring device.

Magnetic field measuring devices with exactly 2 mm measuring distance

A de facto industry standard when measuring the magnetic field strength on ball bearings is a 2 mm distance between the sensor and the end of the axial probe. This means that measurement results for the customer and supplier can be compared. Because: the distance is a major factor in the measured values.

Magnetic field measuring devices for measuring crack tests

- an alternating magnetic field is generated by a coil, which induces eddy currents in the material to be examined. If the resulting alternating fields are homogeneous and constant, the material is OK. Cracks "swirl" the magnetic field; they can be recognized by cracks in the measured value.

Note on how to use

Magnetic field meters from List-Magnetik are suitable for measuring direct and alternating magnetic fields up to a maximum of 20 kHz with a measuring range from a minimum of 0.01 mT (= 10 µT) to a maximum of 5 T. These are fields with a strength of at least the earth's magnetic field.
However, they are not suitable for measuring high-frequency electromagnetic fields in the sense of an EMC test or electric fields in the range of a few µT.
There are special EMC meters on the market for this purpose, which we do not sell.
