TOP-CHECK Ferro-1001 coating thickness gauge with self-aligning prism for optimal measurement of coatings on steel wires
List-Magnetik TOP-CHECK Ferro-1001 coating thickness gauges feature a small measuring probe and a self-aligning prism. This enables optimal measurement of coatings on wires and round stock. These compact devices are barely larger than the measuring probe itself and are ideal for measuring thin coatings on steel cables or spiral stirrups, for example.
The handy metal housing is splash-proof to IP 64 for trouble-free coating thickness measurements in harsh environments. With a single push button and self-explanatory multi-language menu navigation, the coating thickness gauges are easy to use.
Measure insulating coatings on iron and steel
The TOP-CHECK Ferro-1001 is the right choice for iron and steel substrates. The coating thickness gauge uses a magnetic inductive probe to measure coatings of varnish, paint, plastic, rubber, ceramics, galvanic coatings, and electroplated coatings (except nickel) according to ISO 2178.

To further process your measurement data, you can pair your coating thickness gauge with Android and iOS mobile devices. Or communicate with a Windows PC. Wireless technology makes it possible. With the Lima Connect app, you can manage projects and assign measurement points to a photo. Measurement results can be statistically evaluated and graphically displayed.
