Coating Thickness Meters

Probes for coating thickness measurement

Most applications can be covered with a standard probe. For example, paint on vehicles or buildings, or anodized aluminum housings. In this case, the standard and dual probes with the robust ruby tip are the first choice for spot and scan measurements. A paint thickness gauge can be used to measure coating thicknesses up to 7 mm, which can be important for fire protection.

Special application, special coating thickness probe

Special probes and applications are available when you need to measure coating thickness in recesses or pipes, on small surfaces, under supports, or in hard-to-reach locations. For example, the DX1-F coating thickness gauge, whose probe tip is also used in the TOP-CHECK Ferro-1000 coating thickness gauge, is particularly suitable for thin coatings on uneven surfaces.

The pivotable probe by List-Magnetik

Please take a look at the pivotable probe: It can be used with both measurement techniques. For example, on all metals. Both methods can be used with automatic substrate detection. The 90° swivel probe allows you to measure in hard-to-reach corners and openings.

Transversal probes

Measure from the side - transversal probes measure inside pipes. They can penetrate 6 cm deep. If this is not enough, we also offer a telescopic rod to reach the inside of boilers.
