The List-Magnetik MP-1000 magnetic field meter is equipped with externally connectable transverse and axial field probes, making it easy to carry out precise magnetic field measurements. This versatile device is ideal for measuring direct, alternating (true RMS), and pulsed fields, making it suitable for a wide range of magnetic field measurement applications. It is also ideal for measuring residual magnetism.

With just the push of a button, you can take precise magnetic measurements of weak geomagnetic fields up to 20,000 A/cm and strong fields (switchable in Gauss/Oersted), as well as magnetic flux density. The MP-1000 is a versatile digital gaussmeter, magnetometer, and teslameter that provides reliable and reproducible magnetic field strength and intensity values.

Thanks to its compatibility with professional magnetic field measurement systems and its support of high-precision magnetic field sensors, the MP-1000 is an ideal tool for magnetic field analysis and test procedures, as well as applications in industrial magnetic field measurement.

At low magnetic field strengths, extremely interference-free and precise magnetic field measurement is particularly important. The MP-1000's magnetic field sensors and measuring probes contain a microcontroller that digitizes and linearizes the Hall sensor's analog measurement signals while still in the probe, making this possible. This provides an important foundation for reliable magnetic measurements and precise results with weak magnetic field intensities.

This technology supports modern magnetic measurement methods, ensuring the MP-1000 delivers excellent results as a magnetometer, teslameter, or digital gaussmeter, even under extreme conditions. It enables precise magnetic field analysis for research and development, as well as for industrial magnetic field measurement and testing procedures.

The probe cable connects the display unit and magnetic field probe. It can be plugged in at both ends and easily replaced in the event of a break. You can detect small differences in the strength of the magnetic field when measuring it using a magnetic field meter, magnetometer, gaussmeter, or teslameter. All of these terms describe the same thing. List-Magnetik's magnetic field measuring devices have a long service life and provide reproducible field strength values during magnetic field testing, from low field values just above the earth's magnetic field, through residual magnetism/remanence with low A/cm or Gauss/Oersted residual magnetic field values, to peak fields.

We also offer a calibration standard, or reference magnet, with which you can reliably check the accuracy of your magnetic field tester at any time. This ensures precise and accurate magnetic measurements, whether you are measuring magnetic flux density, conducting a magnetic field analysis, or using magnetic measurement methods in industry or research.

The MP-1000 has four probes for different measuring directions: axial, transversal, angled axial, and transversal tongue. Axial probes measure in the direction of the probe. Transversal probes measure at a 90° angle to the probe. The difference lies in how the Hall sensor is mounted. Transversal probes are better suited for measuring in cavities or narrow pipes.

Note on how to use

Magnetic field meters from List-Magnetik are suitable for measuring direct and alternating magnetic fields up to a maximum of 20 kHz with a measuring range from a minimum of 0.01 mT (= 10 µT) to a maximum of 5 T. These are fields with a strength of at least the earth's magnetic field.
However, they are not suitable for measuring high-frequency electromagnetic fields in the sense of an EMC test or electric fields in the range of a few µT.
There are special EMC meters on the market for this purpose, which we do not sell.
