A calibration standard is a reference magnet with which an axial or tangential measuring probe matched to it can be checked for accuracy by the user. If the probe is working properly, the measured value specified on the corresponding calibration standard is reached. In case of deviations outside the tolerance, a factory calibration of the measuring instrument, probe and calibration standard is recommended. |

The calibration standard is only available as an accessory for a List-Magnetik magnetic field meter with axial or tangential probe (P-A2, P-A4, P-T2, P-T4, MP-800), not for reed probes or for devices of other manufacturers. The tangential field probe measures the field in a 90 degree angle to the axis of the probe.
