Magnetic fields in manufacturing and industry

Magnetic fields are invisible. The magnetism of a workpiece can only be recognized by the effect on other steel parts or chips. Often, however, residual magnetism is an undesirable effect, and that is why it is increasingly the subject of quality audits.
Magnetism is also an important part of mechanical engineering. In many electric motors permanent magnets are used, magnetic switches require constantly functioning magnets. The magnetization of ferrite or neodymium materials requires strong magnetic fields, which must be measurable dynamically when they are generated.

Fluxmeter FL-4

The Fluxmeter FL-4 is a measuring device for the determination of the magnetic flux Φ (Phi) of a magnet system or a single magnet.

In combination with the List-Magnetik Helmholtz moment coil HM-1, the magnetic flux of permanent magnets can be determined very accurately, since the entire volume of the magnet is measured independently of position. The effect of the magnet on the coil is determined in the form of an electrical voltage and converted into the flux value (or flux). Technically speaking, the Fluxmeter FL-4 is an electronic analog voltage integrator.
